Road Eats: Burger Burger (Avon, NC)

When we visited the Outer Banks in March, we had our trip planned out as far as roadside attractions went, but we had no idea where to eat. One day, we came across Burger Burger and decided to give it a try and were SO GLAD WE DID!

Why? Two words: Smile Burger, a cheese burger with a huge fried cheese skirt.

What we had: Smile Burgers, Wake and Bacon Panini, french fries, and sweet potato fries.

Cost: The Smile Burger comes with fries and will set you back $8.95.

What we thought: It's a burger with a skirt of fried cheese! It rules!
