Post Malone brought Swae Lee, Tyla Yaweh, and his Runaway Tour to Raleigh's PNC Arena on Thursday, October 17th and while it's only been eighteen months since Malone came through our area, it feels like a lifetime of trends, personalities, and music has come and gone since. Malone, fresh off the release of his excellent Hollywood's Bleeding album, has shown that even after three albums, he can still knock you out with a killer hook.

Tyla Yaweh was an excellent opening act for the tour. He was energetic, full of leaps and bounds, and set the tone for the evening and crowd hyped. Swae Lee, who guested on Malone's "Sunflower" (and later joined Malone onstage for the song near the end of the show) and is one-half of Rae Sremmurd of "Black Beatles" fame, brought out the roses to win the crowd over.

But make no mistake--while both Yaweh and Lee were awesome (though we did wish Lee would've eased back on the AutoTune a bit), this was Post Malone's show. The swagger. The sounds. The hits. The future hits. He was amazing and the fans loved every minute of it.

Next time he comes through the area, he's going to have to play at RDU accommodate all his fans.
