Flipturn and Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners drew quite the crowd last week at The Ritz.

It was pretty amazing to hear nearly the entire audience singing along and cheering on not only Flipturn, but also Richy Mitch and the Coal Miners. It’s not too often that the opening band gets the same amount of love and attention as the headliner, but this was one of those outlier events!

Considering that both of these artists are on my “chill vibes” playlists, I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as what a live performance would be like by them. I was happily surprised by their energy and how engaging and lively they made the songs feel! Flipturn made use of the entire stage, jumping around and hyping up the crowd.

At one point, they brought drums to the front of the crowd, and everyone went crazy.

There was so much excitement at The Ritz for this show that time passed too quickly, and just like that, the night was over!
