One of the many cool things that has happened to us during our first five years of Strange Carolinas has been our television appearances. As you can tell by the pieces, I never got comfortable in front of the camera. I'm much more at ease behind the camera!

03.22.17 WBTV Charlotte
We appeared on WBTV's morning show to discuss the Best Burger in NC competition we were having. Ray from Ray's Smokehouse, one of the eight finalists, was also on the show to cook burgers for the anchors.

07.12.17 WECT Wilmington
We appeared on WECT's afternoon show to discuss the UFO Welcome Center (Bowman, SC), The American Museum Of The House Cat (Sylva, NC), and Cryptozoology & Paranormal Museum (Littleton, NC).

10.02.17 WBTV Charlotte
We followed up our burger contest with a Best Taco in NC competition and were invited back to WBTV Charlotte. Only this time, the winner, Burrito Shak, was announced on air. Burrito Shak owner David Longo appeared on the broadcast with me.

10.27.17 FOX 46 Charlotte
We were invited on to talk about scary places in the Carolinas, so we took a look at Charlotte's RiRa Irish Pub and Asheville's Jackson Building, Erwin High School, and Chicken Alley. This is also the interview where I forgot how to speak.

12.31.17 FOX 46 Charlotte
We were invited on to talk about strange local New Year's Eve celebrations. We spoke about the Acorn Drop in Raleigh, the Pickle Drop in Mount Olive, the Flea Drop in Eastover, the Possum Drop in Brasstown, and the Cherryville New Years Shooters.
