Peace -N- Hominy Q Shack is a barbecue restaurant in the town of Belmont, North Carolina. The locals love this place because when we were there it was packed!

Pro tip: Go on the weekend when brunch is available.

What we had: Chicken pull'd sandwich and fries, Sammy Breakfast (scrambled egg & cheese sandwich) and fries, and W.I.T. hotcakes (apple butter hotcakes topped with W.I.T. peach saurce made with Belmont's own Muddy River Rum) with bacon.

Cost: A BBQ sandwich and fries will set you back $8.67.

What we thought: The food was awesome! We enjoyed everything we ordered, but we especially loved the pulled chicken sandwich.
