Siobhan Shene and Patch Whisky (who has been featured before on Strange Carolinas) completed this mural over a twenty-four hour period in November of 2012. While age has allowed the bricks to begin to bleed through, giving Elvis a polka-dotted suit and transforming Buddy Holly into a bespectacled version of The Goonies' Sloth, the mural is definitely still worth a visit.

Bonus: "Jailhouse Rock" Elvis stands on top of the building.

UPDATE (01.27.17)

Elvis has left the building. Also, the pawn shop that was once in this building closed down and Brown Truck Brewery moved in. It cut double doors and window into the mural, so it's nowhere near as cool as it once was
