Most bridges don't have nicknames, but then again, most bridges aren't The CanOpener, a railroad trestle found at the corner of Gregson Street and Peabody Street in Durham, North Carolina. The CanOpener looks like a normal mild-mannered bridge, but it harbors a bloodthirsty appetite for destruction, having eaten the tops of over 100 trucks.

The CanOpener averages a victim or two a month, so the chances of you stumbling upon a crash are pretty slim. Luckily, Jurgen Henn works in a nearby office and is able to film every single crash from multiple angles, which he chronicles at 11foot8.com.
