There's a good chance you're well aware of the Hard Rock Cafe's pyramid as it has been a Myrtle Beach staple since it opened on July 10, 1995. Not only have you seen it before, you've probably eaten there as well, or at least gone inside to check out the rock 'n' roll memorabilia.

Soon, you won't be able to do that.

At least not in the pyramid.

Construction is underway for the Hard Rock Cafe's new home in Broadway At The Beach's Celebrity Square. Once the new location has opened, the pyramid will be razed and a Dave & Buster's will open at the pyramid's former location.

Here is an artist's interpretation of the new Hard Rock Cafe:

Even they think this a bad idea. There's hardly anyone at the new Hard Rock! Plus, I'm pretty sure the trendy couple in the front left are on their phone looking for somewhere cooler to hang out.

It won't be long until the new location is up and running. They've already installed the guitar:

Hurry and pay your respects to the pyramid before it's too late!

UPDATE: 05.24.17
We went down to Myrtle Beach for Easter and can tell you that the new Hard Rock is now open. The pyramid is no more and that area is now being turned into a Dave & Buster's.

We did love the drum art, though.

Here's the view of the bar and the floor from behind Guns N' Roses' drum kit. ROCK!
