The Chicken Man Truck (Columbia, SC)

Ernest Lee is The Chicken Man.



He's been painting for over 50 years and can be found most days at his outdoor studio on Grevais Street.



He has built a name for himself locally and nationally as an established folk/outsider artist.



While most of his paintings are of chickens on scrap wood, The Chicken Man also paints murals and other subjects, too.



While we were instant admirers of his art, it was his truck that really wowed us over.



We're big fans of art cars, so we instantly feel in love with his truck hawking his skills with the chicken on the roof.
