Atreyu's In Our Wake Tour Slams Into Greensboro

Pound for pound, Atreyu's In Our Wake Tour might be the best tour out there right now. You've got headliner Atreyu, Ice Nine Kills, Memphis May Fire, and Sleep Signals. When we found out they were headed to Greensboro's Cone Denim Entertainment Center just before Thanksgiving, we postponed our vacation to rock out!



Sleep Signals hit the stage first. I'll be honest--I wasn't familiar with them prior to this show. But they quickly won me over.



I was beyond excited to see Ice Nine Kills. I'd loved their albums, and heard they put on an amazing live show, dressed as horror movie icons. The Greensboro crowd was not disappointed as they put on a killer show!



Memphis May Fire was next. I had caught these guys on the 2017 Warped Tour, so I kind of knew what to expect. They were awesome as usual!



Finally, Atreyu hit the stage and the crowd went nuts. They've taken a lot of flack for their change in sound, but personally I love their new direction. Frontman Alex Varkatzas was on fire and the chemistry between guitarist Dan Jacobs bassist Porter McKnight was undeniable. They put on an awesome show and if this tour comes to your area, you have to check it out! These four bands will be on the road together until mid December.
