Reretail Therapy: Green Eggs And Jam (Morganton, NC)

When we first entered Morganton's Green Eggs And Jam last November, we were greeted by a guy wearing a Grinch onesie. Given the name of his record shop, we figured he was just going all-in on the whole Dr. Seuss theme, but he assured us that downtown Morganton was having a Dr. Seuss celebration that day and this was his contribution.

We instantly fell in love with his place. He had lots of cool albums lining the walls. Seriously, check that out! Love & Rockets, The Damned, and Golden Shower Of Hits, which contains one of the best cover songs in the history of cover songs, "Golden Shower of Hits (Jerks on 45)."



You'll also find vintage clothes you're not going to find at your local Goodwill.



There were also DVDs, art, a few pieces of furniture, old VHS tapes, a few knickknacks, and he also told us he hosts live bands every so often in the lot beside the store!



Seriously, this is one of the coolest vintage stores in the state! Check it out next time you're in Morganton.
