On June 16th, Jon Bellion brought his Glory Sound Prep Tour to the Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre. It was a hot, muggy night, but his fans were eager for a great show.

I'll be honest -- I wasn't expecting much from the crowd. They seemed fairly low energy. Maybe it was the humidity, maybe it was the fact that it was a Sunday night. But the moment Jon Bellion hit the stage with "JT," the crowd went absolutely i-n-s-a-n-e! Apparently they were just saving it all for Jon, because this is one of the loudest crowds I had ever heard.

And with good reason -- Bellion is an excellent performer. He fed off the crowd's intensity, smiling the entire evening, singing, dancing, talking with the crowd, and put on a great show.

Of course he played his biggest hit, "All Time Low." But he also played favorites like "Conversations With My Wife," "Guillotine," and "Stupid Deep." He even brought out opening act Lawrence to assist him on "The Internet."

Along the way, he told the fans of his influences and acts he loved growing up. He loved Dave Matthews Band and would see them in amphitheaters and did his hit "Guillotine" in a "jam session" style as an homage to DMB. He also loved Rage Against The Machine and made that apparent on his closing song, "Cautionary Tales."

Jon Bellion put on a great show in Charlotte and if you get the chance to catch him on one of the remaining dates of his Glory Sound Prep Tour, you definitely should.
