I Did, But You Aborted Them Sign (Andrews, NC)

We came across this sign on our way to Murphy, NC on Highway 19. The first speech balloon reads, "GOD, SEND US SOMEONE TO CURE AIDS, CANCER, ETC. ETC." The second speech balloon reads, "I DID, BUT YOU ABORTED THEM." We don't know much about this sign other than it's been around for awhile. When trying to research it, we discovered that The Carpetbagger had uploaded the photo to his Flickr account in 2006.
