Many thought that when folks figured out how to infuse ice cream with alcohol, ice cream had finally evolved to its highest form. Not so! We've found Greensboro's Lucha Libre Ice Cream & Churros (4925 West Market Street, Greensboro,) an ice cream shop where the ice cream is infused with luchadores, also known as Mexican wrestlers.

Let's talk about the ice cream first. It's very rich, creamy, and tasty. We ordered a small bowl of chocolate with a shot of adrenaline, a chocolaty mixture which comes in a syringe. I managed to squirt the adrenaline on our ice cream every few bites, but it was tempting just to shoot the entire concoction in my mouth at once.

The churros were covered with cinnamon and you could choose from multiple fillings. We weren't hungry enough to try their masterpiece, the Mangonada King, which consists of a lemon popsicle covered with chamoy chili powder, a tamarind-candy-covered stick, diced mango, and mango sorbet. Maybe next time (which will definitely be soon)!

The interior is killer, too! There are tons of murals of luchadores, the history of lucha libre, and more. Not only that, you can pruchase luchador masks! By the looks of their Facebook page, they have actual luchadores drop by the shop from time to time to meet the customers. Basically, all this place is missing is the wrestling ring!

If you're looking for a fun place and some great ice cream, you need to stop by Lucha Libre Ice Cream & Churros. It'll put your taste buds in a headlock!
