The Fratellis Bull (Winston Salem, NC)

The Thrift-Way Meats bull has a new home!



This bull used to reside at Winston-Salem's Thrift-Way Meats. Thrift-Way loved him so much that they put him twenty feet in the air on steel poles so folks could see him from blocks away. The owners of Fratellis Italian Steakhouse bought the bull from Thrift-Way and set him up outside their Italian restaurant last week, which just so happens to be at the location of Staley's Charcoal Steak House, where an identical bull once stood.



He didn't look this big up on the poles at Thrift-Way, but he's massive when you're standing next to him. According to the Winston-Salem Journal the bull is eleven feet tall and weighs almost a ton.
