New Bern is the second oldest city in North Carolina and was settled in 1710. It was also the home of Caleb Bradham, the pharmacist who created the carbonated beverage Brad's Drink in 1893. Five years later, he renamed it Pepsi-Cola.

Today, you can visit the Pepsi Store and museum in New Bern and learn about the history of the cola, see vintage bottles throughout the years, and buy memorabilia.
