This guy is a classic Bob's Big Boy statue. In other parts of the United States, this statue isn't that rare, but he is in the South. He was once franchised to Shoney's and was their mascot until 1977 when Shoney's opted to cut all ties with Big Boy and traded in this iconic guy for a silly bear. You may find one of these in an antique store or in private collection, but to find one in the wild in the South is a rare treat. This one stands outside BBQ Man on 321 in Hudson.
