The Collettsville Cup House (Collettsville, NC)

According to the News & Observer, Avery and Doris Sisk bought a lot of 750 coffee mugs for $15 at a Hickory flea market twenty years ago. Avery and his sister Ruby started hanging the mugs in a corner of the front porch of the cabin and the legend soon grew. Since then, their collection has ballooned to nearly 30,000 mugs and now lines the fence, archway, and a second house. Not only that, people travel from around the world to see their collection and leave a mug of their own.
