After nearly five weeks of voting, the readers of Strange Carolinas have named Mystery Hill North Carolina's Best Roadside Attraction....



After nearly five weeks of voting, the readers of Strange Carolinas have named Mystery Hill North Carolina's Best Roadside Attraction. Wally's Service Station/Mayberry Courthouse came in second place and the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park came in third place.

For two weeks, readers of Strange Carolinas were invited to nominate their favorite North Carolina roadside attractions. From March 2nd to March 20th, readers were invited to vote for their favorite roadside attractions from the ten entries that received the most votes during the nomination period.

Here were the ten finalists as determined by the readers of Strange Carolinas:
