After nearly five weeks of voting, the readers of Strange Carolinas have named the Brown Mountain Lights North Carolina's Best Urban Legend. The Devil's Tramping Ground came in second place and the Gravity Hill came in third place.
For two weeks, readers of Strange Carolinas were invited to nominate their favorite North Carolina urban legends. From March 2nd to March 20th, readers were invited to vote for their favorite urban legends from the ten entries that received the most votes during the nomination period.
