Most folks in the Triad know about The Mickey Pot, also known as The Salem Pot and The Coffee Pot. It has been a Winston-Salem staple since 1858 when it was built by Julius and Samuel Mickey to advertise their tin shop. But did you know that Winston is actually home to two giant coffee pots?

A smaller, but still qute large replica of The Mickey Pot can be found outside the Downtwon School. According to a plaque on the pot, it was donated by Dr. and Mrs. Robert T. Savage on December 9, 1991. Unfortunately, we don't know why the replica was donated in the first place.
