It might not be the most challenging. It might not be the most beautiful. It might not be the most fun. But because we love roadside attractions at Strange Carolinas, we're huge fans of Laura E. Corn Mini Golf in Hendersonville because it takes you to attractions in western North Carolina (but sadly, no Bigfoot). During your 18-hole round of miniature golf, the course will take you to Chimney Rock, to Looking Glass Falls, to the Biltmore House (although the actual house is missing), to a bear cave, to church, to the Carl Sandburg House (actual house is missing), fishing on the French Broad, to Grandfather Mountain, gem mining, rafting on the Nantahala, hunting for squirrels (which includes a loop-de-loop and a giant squirrel), hiking on the Appalachian Trail, to Main Street, camping, to Cherokee, to an apple orchard, to Looking Glass Rock, and driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
