On March 14th, Dashboard Confessional performed at The Ritz in Raleigh. Hot off the release of their eighth album, All the Truth That I Can Tell, the band did perform one new track off the new album, but kept the setlist focused on their many past hits, much to the sold-out crowd's delight.

Frontman Chris Carrabba was on fire all night. The evening started with only Carrabba, armed with his acoustic guitar, who performed a rousing solo version of "The Brilliant Dance" before being joined by the rest of the band for "The Good Fight."

The entire band--lead guitarist Armon Jay, bassist and keyobardist Scott Schoenbeck, drummer Chris Kamrada, guitarist Dane Poppin, and backup vocalist Abigail Kelly--all sounded great and Kamrada even treated the crowd to a short drum solo. The entire band were able to joke between songs, but sounded tight as hell when performing the band's classics, which included "Saints And Sailors," "We Fight," "Stolen," and many others.

The crowd knew all the words and screamed along in unison, so much that Carrabba even backed off and let the crowd take the lead numerous times. Unfortunately, the 90-minute set eventually came to an end, but not before the one-two punch of "Vindicated" and "Hands Down."
