Lauren Daigle performed with flashes of color and movement all night at the Greensboro Coliseum. Thursday night she brought her Kaleidoscope Tour to North Carolina and shared several songs from her self-titled 2023 album along with many of her hits.

Daigle wrote many of the songs from the two volume album while not touring and being secluded for two years during the pandemic.

She opened the night with “These Are The Days,” “Waiting” and “New,” all from the new record. The crowd could not be more pleased, singing along and swaying to each song as if they had been singing them for years.

Daigle was joined on stage by a large group of musicians and back up singers, some of which were playing from an upper tier perched above the back of the stage. Several of the musicians, including the singers, guitarists and a horn section, often swarmed around her or paraded back and forth along a long runway that extended from the front of the stage.

On several occasions Daigle took a break between songs and jaunted down the runway with a beverage in hand. During each of these moments, she took a couple of minutes to talk to the audience. On one of these trips she introduced her song “Rescue,” describing it as her favorite to perform live.

Victory Boyd

Towards the end of the night Daigle invited her opening act, Victory Boyd, back onto the stage to perform a song with her. The pair sang “His Eye Is On The Sparrow,” one of the songs off Boyd’s album Golden Hour, which was released earlier this year.

Before the night ended, she performed eleven songs from her new record. But she also sang quite a few of her hits, including “Still Rolling Stones” and “You Say” to finish the show.

If you missed this show, Daigle just announced tour dates for the beginning of 2024 and kicks off the tour in Charlotte on Feb. 22, and Raleigh on Feb. 23.
