Katy Kirby and company serenaded Asheville on the third stop of their spring tour at Eulogy at Burial Beer Co. On stage first was a band local to Asheville, Sinai Vessel, that was a special addition to the bill for the Asheville show. But joining Katy Kirby for the entire tour was Allegra Krieger, who also played her part in preparing the crowd with an alluring solo set.

Kirby is currently touring her album that came out on the last Friday of January, Blue Raspberry. Katy Kirby said herself that the reason she named the album after this song was because she didn’t think anyone would listen to that song if it wasn’t the title track, but it was one of my personal favorites from the album and I absolutely loved hearing it live!

Her band was extremely talented and added so much sparkle to her performance. They played all but one track off of Blue Raspberry and this album truly shines when it is being played live. "Table" really stood out to me and I also really enjoyed their performance of "Party Of The Century" because Logan Chung, a member of the band, joined Katy to sing.

The first time I saw Katy Kirby was when she was opening for Waxahatchee back in 2021, several months after releasing her album Cool Dry Place, and I fell in love with her performance. That being said I was pleasantly surprised to hear five tracks from that album on Monday night, including the title track which is one of my favorite songs of hers! This was such an intimate and incredible show!
