Squirrel Flower returned to Asheville to take the stage at Eulogy to perform Tomorrow's Fire, the album she recorded just down the road at Drop of Sun Studios. The bill featured Greg Mendez, who had never performed in Asheville before, alongside Asheville locals, Tombstone Poetry.

I was first introduced to Squirrel Flower around the time of her 2021 release Planet (i), when I saw her open for Soccer Mommy, and her growth from that record to her most recent album is undeniable. Her growth as a performer was present as well, in her vocals and in her crowdwork.

After playing the fan favorite track, "Conditions," Squirrel Flower laughed about when the Russian rapper Face ripped off her song without giving her credit on a track that she is now labeled a feature on. I can’t imagine there are any hard feelings between the two, since before transitioning into the next song she even said, "His version hits."

Squirrel Flower has four more stops left touring Tomorrow’s Fire.
