25 Years of being down with the sickness! Man, I still remember listening to "Down With The Sickness" for the first time, at the end of a zombie movie. It was so fitting. Hell, I was a kid and said this song is gonna blow up! Well , here we are 25 years later! Now this is a tour stop I was truly looking forward to with Disturbed, Daughtry, and Nothing More.

Ever have an album that you consistently play over and over? Yep, that was Carnal by our first openers, Nothing More. Even now, I have to listen either to the album or a song or two throughout my day. This was my third time getting to shoot for this amazing band. I truly can rave on and on about each and every one of their songs. Truly. I did have to sneak away as fast as possible to go grab a tour shirt of the guys since I didn’t on the last run.

Second to the stage was Daughtry. Now this band takes me back to being a little kid. Back in 2006, listening to "Home" and "It's Not Over" to now hearing such a beautiful collaboration between Nothing More and Daughtry, "Freefall." Man, if you haven’t had a chance to listen to that song, do me a favor and go watch the music video and blast the music. This is one of the most relatable songs I’ve ever heard. Just a reminder that we are never alone even when it does feel like it.

Third and Final was The Sickness! DISTURBED.
David was rolled out in a straight jacket and a Hannibal Lecter mask. As they released him and he took the mask off, we braced for impact. They opened up with “Voices” and I was running around trying to get some of the best angles possible. Earlier in the evening, we saw bassist John Moyer while waiting for elevators and I got to wish him a good show, and he told us he hoped we all good shots. I saw him in the middle of the second song “The Game.” He noticed me running towards him and posed perfectly for a few shots!
We make it to the third song, “Stupify.” We knew it was the third, which meant it was almost a wrap for us in the pit, so we tried to catch some of the infamous pyro shots of Disturbed! On our way out of the pit, we heard the nostalgic intro...
Can you feel that? Holy shit, that crowd got LOUD! Oh, ah-ah-ah-ah! Man, there were so many smiles present and head banging in every corner of your eye, a beautiful sight that music really brings out the best of us.
Go on and grab a ticket! Celebrate 25 years with Disturbed. 🤘🏽
