Man... what a night this was. From start to finish, the energy inside Coastal Credit Union Music Park couldn’t be contained.
First up was Sleep Theory, who I’ve shot for a couple of times now. These guys aren’t just another opening band for me, they’re family. My good friend Pao, their bassist, invited me out to shoot this one, and it’s always something special photographing people you know and care about. Watching them hit that stage and pour everything into their set had me beyond proud. Their sound is taking off right now, and the crowd was hooked from the jump.
Then the legend himself, Tech N9ne, stormed the stage. This man has been shaping hip hop for decades, and seeing him live again was nothing short of a masterclass. The energy, the precision, the way he commands a crowd, there’s a reason he’s a legend. Raleigh showed him all the love, and he gave it right back tenfold. Much love to Tech!
Next up was Wage War. Heavy. Relentless. Pure chaos in the best way. These guys came out swinging, and the pit never let up. You could feel the floor and stands shaking with every breakdown. Live, they’re a different beast and the fans made sure they knew it. Hell, I knew it and was still blown away!

And then the headliner... Falling In Reverse. Ronnie Radke and the crew shut it down with a performance that was nothing short of electric. The visuals, the sound, the storytelling, featuring the new single “God Is A Weapon” featuring the king of all rock, Marilyn Manson! Falling In Reverse puts on more than a concert, it’s an experience that you leave being a true fan of the band and Ronnie. Genre bending, adrenaline fueled, and unforgettable. By the time they wrapped, we stood there just waiting for more despite him being visibly sick and also letting us know he was actively losing his voice and giving Raleigh every bit of what he had left. The man put on a fucking show that you can never forget.
This lineup had everything: friends, legends, heavy chaos, and a finale that stamped itself into Raleigh history. Nights like this remind me why I do what I do. Capturing the adrenaline, the emotions, the chaos and the moments you’ll never forget.
