Bring Me The Horizon shook Raleigh up! This night was stacked with talent from top to bottom, each band building the energy higher until the headliners tore the roof off the Lenovo Center.
Amira Elfeky opened things up with a voice that was both haunting and soulful. She might be new to a lot of people, but her set made you stop and pay attention. There’s something raw and unshaped about her sound, like she’s carving out her lane in real time and Raleigh got a fucking front row seat to it. This was quite the performance.
Next came The Plot In You, a band that’s been pushing the boundaries of post hardcore for over a decade. Their set was drenched in emotion, heavy riffs matched with lyrics that hit straight to the chest. Landon Tewers’ vocals carried that balance of raw aggression and vulnerability, and the crowd fed off it with every breakdown.
Then came the one I had been waiting years for: Motionless In White. Their mix of gothic theatrics and crushing metal is something you can’t fully understand until you see it live. Chris Motionless, painted in white and black, commanded the stage like a phantom out of a nightmare, with the voice and image that compliments the king of rock, Marilyn Manson. The rest of the band unleashed a tidal wave of sound. For me, finally seeing them was personal. It felt like meeting an old friend I had known for years through headphones and posters, now standing right in front of me in flesh and chaos.
And then... the storm hit.

Bring Me The Horizon. A band I grew up with, a band that has evolved from deathcore beginnings to one of the most innovative forces in modern rock. The second Oli Sykes stepped out, the Lenovo Center transformed. It wasn’t just a concert, it was a battlefield of lights, screams, and adrenaline. From anthems like “Can You Feel My Heart“ to the absolute chaos of their newer material, Bring Me The Horizon gave us everything. Oli has that rare ability to make an arena feel intimate, pulling thousands of voices into one singular roar.
Watching them was a full-circle moment. These are songs that shaped me, carried me through phases of life, and now here I was, behind the lens, in the middle of thousands of fans losing themselves the same way I once did alone in my room. That’s the power of music, and that’s the magic of Bring Me The Horizon.
The night ended not just with ringing ears, but with a fire lit deep inside. A reminder that these bands don’t just perform. They leave scars, memories, and reasons to keep coming back for more.
