There are certain shows that just hit different, were every band on the lineup brings their own kind of chaos, emotion, and history to the stage. Tonight was one of those nights. Seether, Daughtry, P.O.D., and Kami Kehoe--one massive lineup that blended new blood and timeless rock energy into a single night that Raleigh won’t soon forget.
Starting off the evening was Kami Kehoe, a name that’s been blowing up across social media. She’s young, fearless, and has built her following through sheer talent and consistency, one viral moment at a time. But on stage at Red Hat Amphitheater, she proved she’s so much more than an internet sensation. Her vocals hit with power and soul, her presence was magnetic, and you could literally feel the crowd discovering something special. There was a spark in the air, that “remember this name” kind of energy.
Then came P.O.D., and man talk about nostalgia kicking the door open. These legends have been blending metal, hip-hop, and punk for over two decades, and the second "Boom" hit, it was like time travel. The pit came alive, people screamed every word, and you could see smiles stretching from front row to the back fences in the Lawn section . When "Youth of the Natio"n played, it got emotional. Phones lit up the amphitheater as everyone sang in unison. It was one of those moments that reminded you why live music will always matter.
Daughtry followed, and as my second time shooting for them, I’ll say it again, Chris Daughtry is a powerhouse. His voice commands attention. From "It’s Not Over to Home," every lyric carried emotion and experience. There’s something so real about his connection to the audience. It’s like he’s telling his story through every note, and we all relate to it in our own way.

And then one of my top favorite bands, Seether. My first time shooting for these guys, and man, what a way to end the night. Shaun Morgan’s voice hit like a storm rolling through the city, gritty, emotional, and completely undeniable. The crowd was a blend of generations: pld-school rock fans, new listeners, and everyone in between all moving together as one. "Broken" had hearts wide open, while "Remedy" and "Fake It" turned the amphitheater into pure chaos. The lights, the smoke, the raw power of that stage... it was unforgettable.
Shooting there last night, I couldn’t help but take it all in with the lights reflecting over Raleigh with so many people. Listening to the bands I grew up with and guided me through various paths in life. I can’t help but to be grateful and honored to have been able to be there in person and capture it through my lens.
