Concert Review: OK Go (Ritz Raleigh)

OK Go brought their And the Adjacent Possible tour to the Ritz Raleigh on December 6th to a packed crowd, many of whom brought their kids along for the show.

I had never been to an OK Go show before, but I quickly learned they are a lot of fun. Ok Go opened their set with "This Too Shall Pass" and tons of confetti. During that song, lead singer Damian Kulash jumped into the crowd and let members of the crowd sing along to the song. In between songs, Kulash would ask the crowd if they had any questions, and would often field questions from the kids because they had the best ones. Along the way, he told how the band got its name (bassist Tim Nordwind and Kulash attended an art camp when they were little and the instructor would say, "OK..... go!" when he wanted them to paint) and his favorite OK Go song, which turned out to be a new song, "This Is How It Ends," which Kulash performed acoustically by himself in the middle of the crowd on a small stage:

Before that, the band performed "Shooting the Moon" on handbells. Like I said before, this was a very fun concert. They must have a second bus just for the confetti because I swear they shot the cannons every second or third song. Fun times!
