Fall Out Boy brought their So Much For (2our) Dust tour to a jam-packed PNC Arena in Raleigh on Tuesday, March 19th. Along for the ride were Jimmy Eat World, Hot Mulligan, and Games We Play.

After Games We Play and Hot Mulligan performed, Jimmy Eat World hit the stage. I saw them two years ago on their co-headlining tour with Dashboard Confessional. They were awesome then and they were awesome last night as well, playing a fifteen-song set that included "Bleed American," "Sweetness," and "The Middle."

After Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" and their cover of "We Didn't Start The Fire" (which I would've really loved to see performed live) played through the loudspeakers, Fall Out Boy hit the stage to bright lights, fireworks, and flames. Luckily for the Raleigh crowd, Pete brough along his flame-throwing bass for this leg of the tour.

Fall Out Boy looked and sounded great. They would've been fine with a solid black background, tearing through their hits. But Fall Out Boy gave the crowd MORE, in the form of a giant dog head, a Magic 8 Ball, and the aforementioned fireworks and flames. The crowd was left sweaty and amazed from the aural and visual spectacle

CHRIS HOCKER, Editor
Strange Carolinas started as a hobby for Chris Hocker who often dragged his family to offbeat detours on family vacations. Hocker decided to start photographing and writing about these roadside attractions and in June 2014, launched Strange Carolinas with a story on Myrtle Beach's KISS Coffeehouse. In addition to chronicling over 400 attractions across the Carolinas, Strange Carolinas has also become an impressive music blog.
